Our company was started in the year 1970 in the name and style of M/s.K.Thangamariappan & son, by Shri.K.Thangamariappan, with 25 acres of land. Today we have grown to this level of owning about 5000 acres, due to our sincerity, hard & dedicated work.

We aim to enhance our salt production and promote Bromine, Magnesium based chemicals from the bitterns generated from our salt field. Bromine plant will be streamlined this year and Magnesium chemicals production will be streamlined in 2023.

We supply good quality material, quantity requirements, and timely supplies to the entire satisfaction of the customers.

Our Specialties

OWNERSHIP

The entire land: salt pans, factories, warehouses are owned by Mr.T.Nagarajan and Mrs.Deepa Nagarajan. The gross turnover of our company stands at Rs.70 crores.

Production

Our production share of the Tuticorin region salt harvesting is about 25 pct and our market share is almost 18 pct. 7 pct is retained as stock for the off-season time to cater to our customer needs.

Our People

In all fields put together and our refinery for free salt processing units, Plaster of Paris units, we have about 2000 people. Apart from these people, our managerial category skilled staff in office, factory and salt pans will be about 75 of them. In total, we have about 2100 people working in our organization.

Our special qualities

We have supervisors to check the quality of products produced in the factory and salt pans. We donate to Orphanages, Schools, Homes for aged people and Temples, which will be about 1 pct of our net profits.

In the factory for removing the black particles, adequate washing of raw salt is provided in the salt pan at the time of harvesting crystal salt. In the refinery, we have magnets to remove the metal particles.
